In 2020 I had a small surgery performed here by Dr. Quaid and the surgery site remained open and not completely healed until this year (2025). I contacted him multiple times and his response was to shrug and say it should heal eventually. He had no interest in following up or monitoring. My old primary doctor (also within UCHealth) was also unconcerned and actually had the nerve to try to tell me why I should be happy it was still not healed. My comments are specific to the Endocrinology department. I’ve visited endocrinologists/diabetic care in 4 states and 6 different practices. Now I’ve seen two endos here. Both (Kaloyanova and Widham) have been dinosaurs. Neither listen. Both interrupt constantly. Both jacked up my pump rates. Three visits and I’m really sad how shitty the experience has been. I left the last one totally defeated.
I’ve been a few times this time though was not that great! Urgent care front desk was not friendly. I set an appointment the wait was over 45 minutes with no warning. This is with an appointment. It was ridiculous to be treated so rudely.
