I realized this after checking in and then seeing other patients being issued wrist bands. After, checking Google reviews my suspicions were confirmed. I went back to the registration desk and they too confirmed they bill this as an ER visit. If you have a child, make the trip to Comer or Lurie's because this location functions as an ER. The black RN that works morning shift with the Fantasia haircut is extremely rude. I went in there in agony and pain, and that lady looked at me and my face and said there's nothing we can do for you right now and slammed the door. She did not offer me a tissue for my eyes or even asked where the pain was coming from, I bawling my eyes out in pain.
