I foolishly had been a patient at this clinic for over 10 years. Never had contact with gabriella swisher. She called me and began accusing me of cancelling appts at unm. I am in a wheelchair and couldn’t get transportation. Her psych eval in 2 minutes was to define physical assault. I have congestive heart failure. I said I was ending the call. Cops showed up. had to cancel my epidural cuz i got a cold. now i gotta wait 7 months for another appointment. i am try to find another pain dr asap
This place is a complete mess. The head tech at the front desk is putting the poor staff in a huddle when patients pile up. There is a chronic turn over of staff in the front because they are treated so poorly buy head tech. The incomplete of the staff drives away good doctors and the awful ones stay. No one needs to comfort a doctor making 1 million dollars per year really they want to stay. My problem with the pain clinic is I was accidentally sent there instead of getting a diagnosis. I am currently in the middle of a very gnarly situation with my spine. I have been happy enough in general with the care I have received at the pain clinic for 7 years, but am very impressed with the level of coordinated concern and quality of care I'm receiving during this urgent time. After messages on the portal were exchanged, one doctor called me on his own initiative, not on my request, and spent a lot of time talking with me.
