I trusted this surgeon with my hands, twice! He told me what I needed to know ( not what I wanted to hear). I now have a good plan for my hands going forward. Arthritis can be managed, and this doctor referred me to another department that could adress my neglected /other health condition. Dr. Choudry is incredibly smart, capable, kind, and I am positive I am getting the absolute best care. I got in quickly to see him (within a few days!), he really listened to me, he explained things really well and took the time to make sure I understood before moving on. Dr. Choudry is very unsympathetic for a patients pain. If I could give him a zero I would. I was in a car accident that flipped the car and lacerated a tendon in my finger. I called to repeatedly call to get a response from his office. He doesn't listen to your concerns. I am going to another doctor to fix my finger.

I called to repeatedly call to get a response from his office. He doesn't listen to your concerns. I am going to another doctor to fix my finger.
Dismissive, not a good listener, answered questions with trite quips and non-answers which made me feel invisible. Didn't handle my pain. Always in a rush. The whole breast center at U of Mn is not patient focused. I ended up going elsewhere to completely reverse what Dr. Choudry had reconstructed. I now have no pain and am completely happy.
