The UMC pharmacy must be under staffed, as I write this I've been on hold for 59 minutes and no one has answered,Not a great way to run a pharmacy. Don't recommend this pharmacy for vital medication refills. Customer service is too slow and open business hours is too little,not open weekends and they close too early at 5 pm. I showed up without an appointment to have lab work done before my appointment next week (at UMC Joe Battle). I was in and out in 15 minutes. Receptionist was very friendly and was able to get my work order. The entire staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Nurse taking my blood was very nice and careful. She did have to try a couple of times, but that's just normal for me. I've never been able to have my blood drawn on the first try. I would definitely go back for future lab work.
I'm overflowing with gratitude for the outstanding health services provided, everyone at the clinic made me feel warmly welcomed and comfortable, also presented different options regarding the procedures to be done, incredibly professional and empathetic, thank God for the doctors and nurses serving with passion, bringing healing and hope to the sick and wounded. I will definitely make this UMC location my preferred clinic.
Very friendly place and excellent service
I love the pharmacy, the staff are really really nice. Overall I love UMC period.Ive seen alot of negative comments about UMC hospital and I don't know why because I had a bad issue with kidney stones and I had over 5 surgery and every staff was very nice and attentive. My stay with them was wonderful. Best hospital ever,wouldn't go anywhere else but UMC yes the ER takes awhile to get in but once you are in there they will treat you with good care.no complaints here.
