We moved in the 2nd week of August and we only paid half of the rent. Now when we are moving out, we had to pay the full amount of rent for 2 weeks stay. When you miss a few spots cleaning, they over charge for everything. Plus they make you pay for services for the apartment. Just a bad apartment in general.
DO NOT RENT HERE!! They overcharge you for cleaning services you already did. They are taking advantage of broke college students. Do Not Rent Here, you won't receive your full security deposit back. If you are lucky you will get $100 back out of the $900 security deposit. $100 is generous to get back we only got $60. Not terrible apartments, but they way overcharge you.
The apartment itself is okay for college students to live in. It's all good until you move out. They charge a lot for labor to clean when you've already spent so much time cleaning. They have wood flooring and of course you may get a scratch here and there but it seems that they overcharge to have them replaced when nothing in the contract says that we'll be charged for them. The apartments themselves aren't too bad for college apartments. They have all the basic features but the appliances are outdated. The worst part is actually the landlord. Everything is fine and dandy until you move out and he charges you for carpet cleaning after you've already put 8 hours into cleaning the place. Oh by the way, it's actually illegal to charge for carpet cleaning, but luckily for him most people like me won't put forth the time and money to take him to small claims court.
