Please beware of Dr Deans in the ob/gyn dept. She will put you on an SSRI, abruptly stop the refills without reason, and leave you to deal with the si and withdrawal on your own. This is extremely dangerous. A complaint with supporting documentation has been submitted to the state.
i don't run into a lot of doctors who I think are truly amazing and care about what they do these days. But Dr. Rivera is one of them. He's a great doctor and he cares about his patients. I have never had a bad experience with him and I have been a patient for over 5 years.
DO NOT USE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH. You will only see interns, never the actual Dr. I have a very complex medical history. I relayed an intern is not an appropriate provider for me. I was basically given an eye roll and told that's the way it is. Dr did not even respond when I emailed her directly. BTW had to find her email on University site as UBMD internal medicine portal does not provide your actual Dr as a possible recipient for messages. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
No full time regular male doctors. All males are residency and constantly changing. Specifically requested a male doctor, and the residency doctor brought a female student in with him. Specifically requested certain blood work and he never entered the lab order. Trying to get ahold of a nurse to ask a question? Good luck. Terrible phone service! Poor in person service here! Dr. Curtis works one day a week. What doctor works one day a week? Also, this cardiologist doesn't even examine you, a PA does. Why is this doctor making big money that doesn't even examine you? Will be looking elsewhere! Any suggestions on a good cardiologist with good service?
