I recently had a hip replacement surgery with Dr Stanfield i cannot say enough good things about Dr Stanfield and his staff!! The Dr was positive and my husband and i felt immediately at ease he answered all my questions and concerns! Eric was also so incredibly positive and professional! The office always got back to me with any questions and concerns! I had my surgery at Beaver Creek surgery center in Amherst and they took great care of me! Two broken fingers later…When I was looking for an occupational therapist who specialized in hands, I was told that the best hand therapists worked at the Sheffield Health Center. I was so fortunate to find Marilyn Mueller. First time in my life that I actually looked forward to going to occupational therapy appointments. Marilyn is so knowledgeable regarding hand and finger injuries. Between strengthening exercises and a wide variety of splints, Marilyn made sure that I was receiving the best care. The occupational therapy department forgot to submit my authorization to my insurance company. Every time I called they told me that they were waiting on my insurance company to authorize it. They never checked. I found out when I called my insurance company that they didn't submit it. They told me that my town didn't have a occupational therapy place. Sheffield village is a hour away. When I checked UH in my town, they do have occupational therapy. I would give it a zero if I could. The therapist was nice when I ment her th... read more

I loved Dr Sandeet. However when I broke my 5th metacarpal oblique fracture and had to get the cast - the girl wrapping my hand - did NOT KNOW which body part I broke =- ISN"T that her job to look at my chart = I had to tell her she was really hurting me. She said - OH I didn't know which bone was broken???
