I have been a patient of Dr.Sami Moufawad for quite sometime. I am 73 years old have a work related injury from 1984. Through the years Fed Workers Comp would never approve back surgery but would only allow medication. AAA Anuesym was found 2017 as a result of my back injury. They denied that my injury was not found the accident. So since I am also a disabled veteran they out sourced my surgery because it was about to burst. Horrified by this office. They are nasty and have zero empathy for what patients are dealing with. It is quite sad and disappointing. I brought my 76 year old grandma to an appointment today. She has tremendous chronic pain and the weather was awful this morning so we were 30 minutes late to the appointment. I came in extremely frazzled and the receptionist made it very clear that we were late and said we likely won't be able to be seen and I explained that that was not an option. Very professional and thorough care. I waited a little bit, but it was worth the full examination of my injury as related to pain. Very nice people as well.
My mother who is a chronic pain patient, has crest syndrome, which includes scleroderma, and many other painful conditions, she has to have a hip revision, and was told until she has the revision she has an 80-90% chance of her hip popping out doing normal activities, and it has 3 times in 4 months, her hip being in wrong has caused the metal in her back to shift, and now has a fracture in her lumbar spine.
