The desk at emergency admitting, the people who work there seem to have no professional decorum. Because they saw my sister with her daughter there before my sister took me to get my heart checked out , they were constantly looking/whispering and were not to discreet about why. No professional decorum at Emergency admit desk. Seems to be where SELECTIVE QUALITY OF CARE is TAUGHT by reading other reviews.

I understand it is busy in the emergency department. We brought my father in because he has a liver infection and he is in a lot of pain. The could have offered him a bed. He has been sitting up in pain for almost 2 hours . When I try to talk to the nurse she is very rude.
I don't understand why racism in the workplace is not addressed the way it should be, my mother was offered employment and relocated provinces due to her (OBVIOUS) qualifications. When she arrived her co-workers continued to insinuate and criticize everything she was doing, even after making the changes they were picking at, they made comments saying that she should 'go back to where she came from'. Avoid this hospital at all costs, especially if in the rehab department. There are some wonderful nurses, and the occupational therapist was truly incredible, but the newer nurses and many of the care aids crossed several professional boundaries. Attempting to interfere with plans of care made from licensed dietitians and other doctors to dehumanizing patients are only a few of the many issues our family had to deal with during our 6 week stay at this hospital.
