This is the worst hospital ever ! Been here since 10am and have waited 7 hours for a ct scan never again I’ve seen people come in after me and get discharged
I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The hospital, Blue ridge cancer center, in Roanoke VA said they wouldn't do the surgery if I didn't continue the chemo treatments so they put me on hospice. I went to UVA for a second opinion. They said I should have the surgery so I agreed. I was having difficulty paying my bill which was putting me way over budget. Anyone who has been through a traumatic injury and has been to UVA knows you are in great hands. Obviously you pay a good bit but it’s definitely worth it in the long run. Me and my brother have both been through life changing accidents and UVA was the place to go. They found out our issues and fixed them correctly. After I broke many facial bones and had a brain bleed I went to Martha Jefferson, as soon as they found out the extent of my injuries I was strapped in a stretcher and shipped to UVA for proper care.
