The food service was really good with a variety of different food options, and a super friendly and helpful staff!
Lucille, the nurse on the 5th floor at UVA, was absolutely amazing. After my mom’s surgery, she was not only attentive and professional, but genuinely caring in a way that made a stressful situation feel lighter. She took the time to comfort my mom, made her laugh, and truly showed up emotionally — not just medically. You can tell she loves what she does. Our family is so grateful for her kindness, patience, and reassuring presence during a very anxious time. UVA is lucky to have her! <3 5-1-5-0
A horrible experience here with three weeks of lies and pulling the rug from under us every single time. They are not the best they struggle with all the little thing.DO NOT BRING YOUR BABY TO THE NICU HERE!!!!
The staff was good. However the charge was about 3 x the cost of other facilities for a simple chest xray 2 views. I tried to get assistance and the answer was you are paying for our specialists. Not, mind you, specialists in this procedure, just paying for everything else they do. My insurance was charged $499 for the 2 xrays, passing along $387 to me. UVA has failed badly in this case!!! MDSave says average cost for the are is $92.
