I wish I could give 0 stars. I was there 8 days and sent home with no answers. Admitted June 17th for stomach cramps, migraines and low back pain. They did 4 test in 8 days. I was yelled out by higher ups, was left to sit in my room on days nothing was done. Was ignored and was not properly cared for. I will never go there if I am on my death bed. Just go to a carilion hospital or Augusta or anywhere else besides this joke of a hospital. UVA is a predator when it comes to billing. They have fraudulently coded my bill to upcharge me. Took my bill from a copay of $40 to a payment insurance wouldn't touch for $600. I contacted their billing department to dispute it, they were VERY rude and uncooperative. Contacted my insurance and they said they had never seen my procedure coded in such a way and pushed back. Yet again it got nowhere and my insurance let me know that the... read more
This place is slower than molasses. The worst place I've been in my life. Why does it take 7 hours to get a swab done and that doesn't even include the results of the swab. These people have absolutely no compassion or empathy for the sick people who walk in here. Saying this hospital is the best in Virginia is laughable. If you come here make sure you bring food water and a phone charger because you will definitely need it !
