We drove 5 hours away left early and everything and there was 5 wrecks and I seen any 7 construction crews blocking the road and not only that but, today was the day truckers are out everywhere. We was only late by 25 minutes and they wouldn’t see us 10 minutes over the 15 minute time frame. Oh my what will we do with 15 minutes. My wife and I decided to drive over and hour to have our baby girl here after some less than ideal care she was receiving where we live. She and our daughter could not have been in better hands! The nurses, doctors, coaches, the entire experience was beyond amazing. From the OR to recovery to the mother/baby rooms, every step the nurses, doctors, coaches, everyone was simply spectacular!
I never had much of a issue before but I was admitted for about a month from malnutrition due to gi issues an they were so adamant I had a eating disorder as I was begging them to help me with the issue an they kept me on ed protocol while I was there while once again I DO NOT have one- even after they made me talk to a mental health lady who also told them its not that and I was supposed to get set up with GI an it never happened...dont get me wrong most of the nurses were great it was mainly just the acual doctors :/
After going to multiple doctors elsewhere without getting my issue resolved, my sister-in-law, family, and other people in our area strongly recommended UVA Hospital. We drove 90 miles to go there because we knew they had a reputation for being the best—and they truly lived up to it.
