In May of 2023 I had to undergo an appendectomy surgery after being told by the UHS that I did not have appendicitis and did not need to check it out. I could have have dealt with serious consequences if it weren’t from my family doctor telling me to go to the emergency unit in the hospital. Other times I’ve been to UHS, they have been extremely incompetent at what they do and their attitude at times have been unacceptable. It seems that they don’t care about students and are not there to help them. Shameful
I've had lots of good experiences at this clinic and appreciate that the services are free for students. I have saved so much on my healthcare due to this policy. And the staff are super friendly!

Students are required to use this clinic under the university insurance plan. They aren't allowed to access other providers at in-network rates unless they first get a referral from the UHS clinic. Scheduling an appointment is difficult because you can't do it online. You have to call during their limited office hours.
