I have had 16 brain surgeries throughout my 30 years of my life. I went to this pain clinic at university health “the old TMC” after my pain doctor I had before going to tmc moved to Texas and retired. The pain doctor at university health would not do anything like my old pain doctor or prescribe anything for my pain. I have not heard from him in a long time. If you're looking for actual pain management don't go here. Multiple botched epidural injections, constantly rescheduling appointments, a staff that does not care how you're doing or your quality of life. Outside of injections you're told to use OTC pain relievers and if that doesn't effectively treat your pain well tough.
Worst experience of my life. Would give 0 stars if I could. I will never go back or ever trust these evil people.
I had to have lens replacement and retina repair in my right eye. My wait in the lobby wasn't even 5 minutes. I was taken back to surgery prep where I was made as comfortable as possible. I had to be awake for the surgery due to my heart issues which meant I had to lay flat on my back for 2 1/2 hours but was given several pillows for under my knees to help alleviate my back pain.
