My children have been Dr. Shaping for years. They've had many complex health issues in which she has proven dedicated to help with either through her own knowledge or through specialists that help my children. Dr. Shapiro continues to amaze me by her compassion, dedication, knowledge and love for children and health. I recommend Dr. Shapiro to anyone who's looking for quality care and a Dr that really truly cares about your child.
Dr. Shapiro has been seeing my medically complex child since he left the NICU and, after nearly 5 years, I remain as impressed by her as I was at our first visit. She assesses my son as a child first and does not dismiss my concerns as being related to his primary diagnosis without a full investigation. If I could Give her a zero I would. As a fellow healthcare worker she made fun of my daughters nose ring, her cell phone and checked her without a mask down her throat after discovering a low grade fever. My daughter is vaccinated but had been directly exposed to Covid . I tested her directly after the appointment and my daughter is Covid positive and called to tell them and ask why they would make fun of a teenager with a piercing .
