Absolutely unacceptable. We arrived at LSU Health Shreveport at 1:00 PM, and as of 10:07 PM, over 9 hours later, my mother is still sitting in pain with only blood work and an X-ray done. The level of disregard for patient comfort and urgency is deeply concerning. My mom is clearly suffering, and there has been zero communication or compassion from most of the staff. Check in to this emergency room if you want to wail and cry in pain for hours without being seen. Would give 0 stars if that was allowed.
Evil admin the doctor was the only one who seemed to be respectful.the nurses were laughing and rude. They take your blood and pee and sit you back in the waiting room like weirdos they need a new Crew and management get the old crew out of there asap ! People’s health and emergencies are no joke! It’s sick in there. They’re also very unsanitary and dirty. They need to hire people to help them it’s disgraceful for an emergency room.
Waited 16hrs just to be administered the same test again for the third time they just wasting time don’t go here
My son was run over by a truck Wednesday 2/26/25.He was air lifted to LSU, they x-rayed and run test, told him he had a fractured hip, broke back, and he had 3 broke ribs. Next day, he was told well your back is not broke you have some chipped bones, you will have to wear a back brace, oh and by the way your hip is not fractured, it is deep bruising.
