Extremely Unprofessional and Unhelpful Staff, they do not deserve the 1 star! The first time I called, I was put on hold for an eternity. When someone finally answered, I was hoping to get established as a new patient. The receptionist asked for my insurance info, said she would get back to me—and of course, never did. Two weeks later, I called again and was put on hold for 20 minutes, only to hang up and try again twice. Friendly front end staff who greet you with a smile. Dr. Carlson, Sr. was a refreshing change for both my husband and I. He genuinely showed an interest in the patient. He was very knowledgeable in the pharmacological review and explained the reason for the changes for better health outcomes for us. As a retired nurse having worked 40 years in family/geriatric medical settings, this was a pleasant surprise!
Nurse Practitioner Diggett listened intently to me and was on top of everything. I felt that she really cared about my issues and took her time to talking through me. I did not feel rushed at all. She made a game plan fast and effective. You don’t find such good service in the medical field any more. I highly recommend her and this practice.
Great team. Highly competent. Efficient. Not an easy trifecta to find these days in medical care.
I’m very happy that I chose University Family Healthcare as my primary care doctor. Everyone there is caring and professional and I highly recommend this healthcare group to others!!!
