I would only recommend this place to my worst enemy to sabotage them. This place is ridiculous. My total bill came out to 630 dollars, that is the most I’ve ever seen a simple appointment to rewrite my prescription for contact lenses cost. Most places will be $200 max. I also made it clear I am here just to redo my contact lenses prescription. That exam usually takes 30 minutes, here I was in exams for 3 HOURS. Who expects that??? I come to UHO to get a second opinion after a disappointment with a private incompetent optometrist at Costco entrance, a product of UH School of Optometry too. She charged $150 just for Routine eyeglass exam and told me I had cataract even before we went into the exam room when I told her I seemed to have double vision on the R. After a 2 and a 1/2 hour visit without a dialation, I walked out with contacts that I couldn't see out of and was not happy with. The student Doctor could not figure out how to do an accurate prescriptio. On my Follow-up visit, a different student Doctor couldn't figure out either. Second visit, still no dialation and not a good fitting. I was overcharged and underserved.It was a total waste of time if I could give it 0 stars.I would. Now, i will have to go elsewhere and oay more money to get fitted for contacts.
