**Very Disappointing Service – Would Not Recommend** I would not recommend University Electric based on my experience. Thomas was friendly and responsive initially, but the service and follow-through were extremely disappointing. He was hired to install two GFCI components in existing exterior outlets but did not have the necessary parts to complete the job. He promised to return but never showed up, called, or sent a text. Great experience! Tom was exceptional to work with; excellent communication, fair pricing, worked efficiently. I highly recommend utilizing University Electric, they are 100% my go to for electrical work! Bonus-no price gouging like the big companies.
Came on time, did a excellent job repairing a light fixture and replacing a switch for me in a very quick time frame and at a completely reasonable price! Highly recommend. Also very personable and friendly. If you need someone to do some around-the-house electrical work (and I'm sure much more beyond that!) I can say look no further!
He completed the work but refused to tell me what the problem was that he fixed despite my asking multiple times.. All I could get him to say about the electrical outage when I texted to ask about the problem was “bad connection”. When I sent a follow up text asking what he meant, he stopped responding to my messages. I told him over the phone before we scheduled his visit that my budget was a strict $150-200.
