I recently had my Chrysler serviced at Greenway Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Anniston. On my invoice, the service department charged me a “Documentation Fee.” This is something that I did not agree to nor did I know about until I went to pay. There was not an option to decline. This fee is misleading and deceptive for several reasons: 1. It implies that customers must pay extra for record-keeping when dealerships are already legally required to maintain service documentation. Unbeknownst to me scheduling a service appointment is not scheduling any repair. The appointment tool online is only to allow the dealer to look at an issue but not fix it. This place is a total joke. I thought by going to a low-level dealership I would get better customer service but they were just as ineffective as the rest of Stellantis as a whole.
