crappy place to be. a lot of the patients at the ward i was in (adolescent) complained regularly of the meals. i enjoyed them but i definitely understand how some couldn’t. some of the food would come undercooked or cold. and the staff there can be very rude, which is crazy. i understand working at a psych ward is taxing but taking it out on sick children is a new kind of low. i stayed for 11 days and was definitely excited to leave. honestly i dont think the treatment teams really care about these kids getting better. it’s ... read more
Zero shame or morals
They need to be informed with correct information. They don't know what insurance covers assistance. I called and got tossed around. I'm trying to get information and this is how they treat people that need HELP. THEY need to hire people who have the correct information about what insurance is affiliated with there programs.
My adult son experienced a mental health crisis, at which time he was admitted through the Emergency Department of a local hospital to the in patient services at UBHC. As a seasoned healthcare professional, I am always quick to check reviews of any office/facility which provides care to myself and my family.
