This place sucks. The staff is nice but that's it the whole system is a mess. Once I'm able to I'm going to find other providers. This is the 5th time I'm getting last minute appointment for meds and having to go days without psychiatric medications. I'm very thankful I dont have meds that have bad side effects but this is ridiculous and dangerous. Edited. Whoever is working the front desk should be fired. I'm unsure who runs this place but they should be shut down. A referral for intake was sent to them for my daughter before she got discharged. It's been over a week and nothing. The social worker from the hospital attempted to call them several times but no one ever picks up the phone. It is truly disheartening how difficult it is to obtain close mental health treatment for my daughter as I also live in Newark and this location would be closer to us. I now have to look elsewhere like Genpsych or High Focus.

Not meditative friendly their metaphysically abusive to their patients spent twenty minutes asking them under hypcratic oath to not tage me and they didn't listen

I've tried getting ahold of this place since last year for my child. "Call back tomorrow", "Someone will call you back", "Let me transfer you"--get a voicemail. I've left three separate messages different times of the year and no one ever calls back, giving Rutgers a bag name. After reading these reviews, I've decided to go elsewhere. My son doesn't need any further trauma.
