Literally paying for a room, if you take the same amount you’re paying you can rent an entire 2 bedroom apartment with utilities
It’s exciting to have your first place and move into adulthood but, the only major negative thing I have about Ettrick apartments is that some of the workers are unprofessional. I believe that some professional development is needed and reorganization of their system when it comes to employees. I believe that they need to work on communication (being they are there to help residents). Unless somethings change I would not recommend. It’s move in day for my daughter......the entire apartment was dirty, bathrooms filthy, food in the refrigerator wasn’t cleaned, to make it worse wasn’t even working, stove/oven not working, smoke detectors removed and not replaced, broken wall sockets........ not to mention but it should be obvious NO DECONTAMINATION FROM THE LAST PERSON WHO WAS THERE, so much from them trying to protect student/people from COVID-19

I just signed my lease and honestly, it was a great experience I enjoyed talking to them. They were very helpful and insightful on what Ettrick apartments had to offer.
I enjoy my sink mirror it’s perfect for a photoshoot. Maintenance is very understanding and they adhere to any complaints in a timely fashion. The center is great. I never have to pay for printing and the gym has a nice variety of equipment. The best part is the UAE staff and all the events, food and activities they have to give back to us residents. Only thing I would recommend is updating all the units not just certain houses. I would love for my apartment to not have the checkered floors like some others.
It’s a nice apartment to live in while you’re at VSU. It is convient.
