I had surgery at Rush University and received a bill for over $1k approximately 9 months later. I attempted to pay online and learned they charge a 2% credit card fee. I mailed a check and approximately 2 months later started getting harassed by a credit collector. They alleged I had not paid. I was able to contact University Anesthesiologists to explain, resend the check, and continued to get harassed by a credit collector. I called again and finally the harassment stopped. I had a minor surgery through Rush University on July 6. Afterwards, we received a **** from University Anesthesiologists for $41.60 on August 6. The **** was dated July 22, so we paid it promptly and in fill two days later on August 8.UA cashed the check 11 days later on August 19. We had heard nothing else from UA during this time.
