I feel so bad posting a poor review but my husband dropped off our typewriter right before our wedding in 2018 and we still haven’t gotten it back. We’ve both tried calling and visiting the shop countless times over the years, without any luck getting into contact with anyone. Here for the reviews, just got a free underwood typewriter that I’d like to get working. Guys, what if he passed away already? What if someone just told him hey let’s go & he had to leave everything behind? Maybe try finding out who he left his business to & see if you can get it back but don’t accuse the man of theft when he was already in his mid 80s, when anything could’ve happened.

I dropped of my typewrite almost 5 years ago and he has not reached out to me at all, I have tried calling but the voice-mail is full, if any one has any idea how I can get my family heirloom back please let me know, he was a nice man and said he could fix it but he has yet to let me know anything.

I sent in my typewriter 3 decades ago I still dont know were it is so I just bought a new one and forgot about this horrible store with (just to put out there) TERRIBLE service. i would not recommend sending your typewriter in, however Mr. Smitty, the store manager was very nice!
