Was great as usual but I really wish the menu would stop updating. The mixed green salad had candied pecans and goat cheese and was delicious. Can't get that now because goat cheese is being phased out? Why? Cost? Okay then make the salad cheaper?
Excellent place for a bite to eat
This is still one if my favorite places after years in Asheville. It's the most bang for your buck in all west asheville restaurants with great quality food items and lovely outdoor seating with relaxed, dog- friendky, child- friendly vibe. Fish tacos are amazing, and goat cheese and candied nut salad.
Update: I'm sorry to report that after several recent visits (all great) we had a different experience yesterday. The espresso martinis were missing a main ingredient. The color and taste was completely different from what we've had on all other visits. I believe it was the coffee liquor...kind of important. I followed it up with a special pineapple mule but it just tasted like pineapple juice and was really missing the ginger kick.
