Reason for one star review is bad conditions compared to other hospitals I've been to in the area. Not very clean when I was there. Very overcrowded for the small space. Outside area depending on the unit youre in, you go out regularly and play football or chalk drawing. I would recommend another Hospital like Penn Highlands in Connelsville. Though, depending on circumstances you don't always have a choice. OVERALL If you're thinking of going in yourself because of a crisis, here's what I'd tell you to do 1. This is by far the worst place I’ve been in patients were fighting almost every day and there was 6 run aways my whole stay I was there for 41 days and it was the worst I got into 2 fights and my friend was sa’ed twice the cops got called and nothing happened the only staff that were nice to me was nurse Jenny, dawn, Nichole and Carly I talked to treatment team like 3 times and had to beg to talk to my therapist DO NOT SEND LOVED ONES HERE!!

Not even gon lie this place is a big joke I went here 2x and it’s get worse everytime. I came here when I was 12 and it was crazy more like fever dream u don’t want to Remeber the staff at some point was chill. This Place Was GREAT. The Patients Became Family. Shout-out To Mike Who I Call Law By Mike, Tyler, Reggie, Hollen, And Andrew. The Food Was 10/10, The Rooms Were Good Sized And Beds Were Comfortable. Sarah Went Above And Beyond To Help Me. You Meet With Activity Therapy And If Something Is Said I Group That Brings Back Bad Memories The Therapists Will Stay And Talk With You And Help You Process It. You Can Bond With Staff. terrible experience, if i could do 0 i would. there was maybe 2 or 3 staff that actually cared about the patients. i stayed there when i was a minor, they kept me in the lobby with a 30 year old man who was insanely creepy and predatory (it comes with the mental health territory which i understand, but like i said i was a minor with no guardian because i had come from the ER) for over 2 hours. i saw a therapist only once, and it was to discuss discharge, i was there for 3 weeks. somebody tried to FALSELY rediagnose me, thank... read more
