Deductibles go up every year, meaning more out-of-pocket. Pre-authorization procedure is slow, and requires excessive steps to get the care I need.

I got this insurance throught my job and it doesn't pay for barely anything. I am going to go into debt because if them. I am so scared of going to the doctor. I moved up to another the top Tier and I am still getting high medical bills.

I have this insurance through my job and it going to put me underwater in debt. Everytime I turn around there is a high medical bill for just going to the doctor. I am scared to get any type of medical care. They rarely pay for anything no matter how much you let them take our of your check

Worst customer service, anyone trying to help has no understanding of thier customer's health plans. It takes days to rectify their misinformation and lies they tell. They don't want to pay for services so will give you the runaround again and again and again. Horrible company. Not to mention going against doctor orders and changing up meds at their financial whim. Awful.

Complain to your UM supervisor at Univera that you are being mistreated due to diversity plus, by another employee and she will conjure up lies about you and fire you at the end of that day, and keep the abusing employee (agency employee). FACT! This story is not going to be shoved under the rug. All associated hospitals, Boards, agencies, charities, VA's, big customers, small customers, award giving orgs, Diversity groups, Office of Aging, NCQA, AHRQ and ect., ect.,.... are going to get a detailed report of this event.

You can't get anyone on the phone. They sell your contact information to agencies like Express scripts who then call and send me mail nonstop about the medications I am taking which is supposed to be confidential. They constantly refuse to pay my doctors bills that are billed as routine visits. Everytime I call univera they tell me the doctor is billing them the wrong way but will not reach out to the doctor's office to rectify the problem. if my employer doesn't look at other insurance providers soon, I will quit my job cau... read more
