Had nothing but two great experiences here. Went to er on valentines night with a gallbladder attack was taken care of immediately and all staff was great! 10 days later had gallbladder removed there as out patient surgery by dr. Marc Miller all staff and dr were great! Big thanks to all that was involved with my care.
During the check-in for my husband's procedure, we were pressured to pay the remaining insurance out-of-pocket amount, which resulted in a substantial credit on our account once insurance paid. We are still waiting for that credit balance to be reimbursed to us, 2 billing cycles later, and phone calls. We have never received an itemized statement showing our credit balance from Unity Point. The doctor and nursing staff were great, however.
