I want to thank the nurses and dr Hodge for seeing me today I was in a very bad way today I have been so depressed and I have a very hard time taking any kind of medication I also have afib so my anxiety is very bad the nurses were great with me you could tell they cared . Not like the nurses from my family doctor.thank you dictat Hodge for listening to me and helping find a treatment
They told me my wrist might be broken but weren't sure. They couldn't give me a work note for more than 2 days... because of "unity point policies"
Every time I've had to visit here the experience has been efficient and friendly.
6:45pm Urgent Care visit was quick & easy. Tested for Strep. Quick test was negative. Longer test from St Luke's was positive & in my chart at 10pm. Called Urgent Care next morning at 10am & 2pm since they hadn't called me. Needed meds called to pharmacy. At 2:46 I received message that antibiotic script was sent to pharmacy. When a test result will be in Dr message as soon as they open, they need to look at them then so meds can be started right away. I am very disappointed with the Urgent Care staff for this reason.
This was the most amazing urgent care experience I've ever had. I've typically gone to a competitor but will be changing. The entire staff was great from the front desk, to nurse, to especially the doctor. I think this is the first time in my life I've ever had a doctor be incredibly thorough in explaining the issue (it was multiple kinds of an ear infection), sit down and talk through all of the questions (like will the antibiotic heal both inner ear and swimmers ear).
