I would avoid any Unity Point facility for this reason. I went to this clinic for a simple strep test on 20 May 2025. The Unity Point Billing Department has had the billing between Medicare and United Health Care screwed up for six months now. Here it is 15 Nov 2025 and they still have not cleared a simple lab fee thru Medicare. The Doc bill finally cleared a couple weeks ago after several attempts. They are now trying to bill me for the full lab fee amount directly even though that is covered by Medicare also. Very frustrat... read more
I arrived at 4-5 minutes before their posted closing time and they would not let me in, I showed them my watch which showed the exact time but they were more interested in getting off work. If you post your times of operations, you should stick to them, especially an urgent care facility!!!
Was a walk-in. Quick, efficient and professional. Nice staff that are willing to help.
I went there for 2 reasons: 1) I have an infection in my finger.. Dr R Hodge saw it and said don’t worry about it. It will pop by itself in several days…. So he didn’t do anything …. 2) I have vertigo and my family doctor was able to fix me with a maneuver with my head. This so called doctor R Hodge said it will solve by itself, which is not the case. Dr. Hodge had tunnel vision and decided upon a singular diagnosis without any testing or consideration that symptoms could be caused by other differentials. That is just bad medicine. If he said okay, majority of the time X symptoms look like this, but yes, they can also result from Y, that would be more scientific and actually evidence-based medicine.
