Went to Unity Point in Altoona for the second time this year. I was told go some where else they would not treat blood pressure. The Dr. said she was the provider and would not give her name. I ended up leaving. Previously I went there and said I thought I had covid, because I had it before and it was similiar. I was told they did not treat covid it was just like a cold so would do nothing for it, so I left like they wanted me to do. Don't bother with this place.
I would like to take the time out today 8-27-2025 to thank Jenny B. She has been the most valuable player in this office for many years. Her compassion and understanding of people are underappreciated. God Bless you. 💕
I needed to see a doctor right away, but because my primary doctor has at a different location. I was denied medical service. This is the most rinky-dink thing I've ever heard. I have gone back and forth on writing a review for 10 months. Ultimately, I am writing this review in hopes to help someone else avoid the experience I had. I saw Leah Haubrich in October 2024. I wished to establish care and discuss a medicine I wanted to take during pregnancy. At the time, I was hormonal, nervous, and 5 weeks pregnant. I have been a patient at this clinic for many years. I have always found the team to be very compassionate, helpful and timely in responses. I personally see Laura Francisco and find her to be very supporting in any care that I need. She is honest, never makes me feel rushed and I appreciate her.
