Nurses are rude front desk staff act like you are a nuisance to them and treat you like you're dumb
The doctors are great but for gosh sake hire some new receptionists. The ones thay work there are rude, disrespectful, and are self-centered. They do not care about patients and are not afraid to show it. Those types of peopleshould not be working with the public if they are always angry and grouchy when someone just asks a simple question? Customer service is not that hard and if you lack it you will lose A lot of business..but Dr.Parsons is a wonderful doctor on the bright side.
We moved here from Des Moines in 2009 and switched from a UnityPoint Clinic there to the Boone location. We are very satisfied and have experienced none of the problems others have mentioned.
I wanted to be seen here, rather than having to go back to des moines for my family doctor. I had some insurance questions and the receptionist was very impatient with me and told me I could fax something over but hung up before giving me a fax number. Very rude. I was able to get in somewhere else farther away a lot faster than the time it took to deal with that lady. Nice to know I can't have a doctor's office close to home.
Every doctor has a terrible bed side manor and it is imposable for them to write a reoccurring monthly prescription, you are required to wait until you are out and then call in and wait a week for them to get around to filling it. The only plus is that they are open for a half day on Saturday and even with them not busy at all they make you feel like it is a huge favor to be seen on Saturday.
