Taking our 3 year-old daughter to this clinic to see Mackenzie Van Rees turned out to be the worst decision my wife and I have ever made. We would have taken her to our family doctor, but wanted to avoid scheduling an appointment far out into the future. This was a giant mistake in hindsight. Ms Van Rees assured my wife we would get in for a follow up Orthopedic appointment the next day so our daughter can get a cast or boot on her leg. Denied treatment because providers can decide which injuries they want to treat -- this was decided without provider seeing injury
There was a lovely lady working the front desk who was kind, attentive and pleasant. She let me know they were running a few minutes behind. No biggie. The intake nurse, or lady who took me back to my room was also lovely. She asked me about my concerns, documented them and took my vitals. Then in walked the most smug and dismissive NP, Tamara. There is a reason this place has such bad reviews. I believe every single one. Just wasted 30 bucks for the so called doctor to tell me she can't prescribe any antibiotics for at least 2 weeks . I'm blowing green and yellow crud out like crazy my head feels like I'm floating and all I need is some antibiotics, I work with a lot of different people every single day and I don't have the pleasure of just calling in sick . Thanks for stealing my money .
Took my daughter to be evaluated for an acute illness. The provider, Katie Wilcox ARNP, was great. Very thorough and attentive. Felt heard and supported. Sound medical advice and treatment. 10/10 would recommend.
