NOT closed as of today 5/16/2017 or else someone is using their name and paperwork with their name on the paperwork. Unity Asset Management, Inc. called yesterday (5/15/17) to ask me to do a "drive by BPO" within 24 hours. I took the assignment only to find that they sent me to do a residential BPO on a condemned commercial building. I provided more data and input than was originally asked for and sent many more than the two pictures requested...now I'm told that it may take 30 days or so to get my check because it has to go... read more
I have been contacted by this company just yesterday to do an interior rush BPO in a nearby town - as well as "photos only" in another. The pay was very enticing! I've been doing evaluations for several years now - but the manner in which they operated, coupled with the reviews I've just read, make me very apprehensive!! Any further advice??
Awful company, I performed 3 rush BPOs around Amarillo, TX in 2015 and never received penny from them. They will not return my phone calls or emails. Very crooked firm!!! Will submit to Small Claims Court!!!
I also did a "rush" BPO way out in a rural area in July 2014. Still have not been paid!! Never can get a human on the phone. Always just leaving messages or no answer at all ---- just rings.

I have done 4 reports for them and have not been paid! Just getting the run around.
Did a BPO for UAM several months ago. When I contacted them about payment they indicated that they rarely paid before 75 days. That in itself is very unusual. Sent them an email last month, never responded, sent one today to two different addresses and one came back undeliverable. The only way I know to prevent this behavior is to request payment in advance , which they would not agree to or to just turn the business down.
Cannot get paid for a BPO! They are nice as pie, but still no payment no matter how many times I ask.
They Don't Pay Bills – I own a residential appraisal company in Austin, Texas. i've done several appraisals for Unity Asset Management and now cannot get them to pay their bills or even return my emails. Of all the Mortgage Lenders out there, I would suggest using someone that doesn't open you up to liens on your property, etc...
