Had to visit urgent care after hours for a sick infant. Only two patients in the lobby but took more than 2 hours of waiting. No explanation for the wait was provided. The quality of service for WCMC has seriously deteriorated since becoming Unity Health. If you are reading this review and your health is such that you are able to do yourself a favor and get treatment in Jacksonville or Little Rock.
Don't be fooled by the empty waiting room at Unity After Hours. Video patients are in line with in-person patients. Daughter spent nearly 4 hours to get shots, then there was no prescription when we went to the pharmacy a couple hours later. 3 hours and 3 phone calls later we learn that there never was a script. Just go to the ER. Go to Primecare or Sherwood. Or perhaps drive to Memphis-it would probably take less time! Unity always has ONE good PA covering the clinic--but only ONE. That's not enough.
This is kind of a mixed review if I was only reviewing the provider named Brian I would have gave it a five star. My issue is with the CNA that takes you back (Heather) and does your triage, she doesn't know how to properly take your blood pressure. The first time I ever went in I had to show her how to properly put on a blood pressure cuff . Most recently, After my blood pressure was high she had to come and take it manually. she didn't know where to put the stethoscope, she put the cuff around my elbow, and pumped the cuff... read more
