8-21-25 I wanted to share my disappointing experience with UHC. When I called today to check on a large claim the rep from UHC was unprofessional and her behavior was alarming. She giggled and laughed before hanging up on me. This claim was not funny to me at $ 9,000.00 If you have UHC I recommend you seeking alternative insurance options. You deserve more courteous treatment because in the end you are 100% paying in with zero pay out. Just remember that when Healthcare providers will not this ins.
I Hope they can reorganize and just make for a better company and be there for their customers in the time of need. The horrible thing that happened a few days ago can be a learning experience for every business and we all can change and all be better. And another thing is nobody should go into bankruptcy because of medical bills in America or have to worry about their health care denied anymore. I just hope these insurance can change in the future. Thank you and have a great day.
Horrible insurance company! Customer service tried lying and saying they hadn't received information from doctor when I was looking at a letter from them stating they had received it. They tried saying they couldn't reach doctors office when I got them on the phone in seconds and merged the call. Told them to connect me to someone in appeals and they call my doctor's office, merged the call, and hung up. Definitely not patient centered.
