I highly recommend United Studios of Self Defense for there consistent top quality instruction, fair price and student focused services. I'm honored to be a student of such a great organization.

USSD is pricey but it's an amazing value for the cost. There are at least 3 group lessons per week an hour a piece, than the student also receives 1 30 minute private lesson per week. This is an amazing value, most people are paying around $60 or so (from who I've talked to) for 1 hour a week at different studios. This would end up being a ton more just for the group classes. The instructor in Orem is amazing. There are several USSD studios over the entire country, and because some of them have had bad instructors they all get a bad name. Joe Perry is the most amazing instructor and his dedication has led him to continue at the Orem studio for over 20 years. My daughter has never learned so quickly as she does at the Orem location of USSD. She has fun, and for a 5 year old this is an amazing experience.

Nice people but limited space United Studios of Self Defense has been in business for a very long time. Instructors at the studio / dojo are very kind and nice people and also have good martial arts skills, but the space in the studio / dojo is very limited so when theres a class, every one in the room doesnt have a lot of room to practice or work out, and thats not good for martial arts training. Wish they would get a bigger building.
