Frustrating experience despite great customer service at the start. I recently rented equipment from United Rentals – Flooring and Facility Solutions for a concrete grinding project. Before renting, I called to ask which machines would work best, and Joe did a great job helping me build the full list of equipment I’d need. The equipment I rented broke down within 2 hours of starting the job. I returned 2 brand new blades expecting a $130 return credit, but staff said they can't find those blades.

I want to make a correction on the last review for United Rentals. After speaking with Joe, and the manager, Patrick, we were able to resolve a total misunderstanding in communication and I want to take full responsibility for the misunderstanding. Customer Service was not good. The manger (Patrick) was not easy to speak with and kept talking over me when trying to explain my issue. I was misinformed and taken of advantage of as a customer who had very little experience with renting the type of equipment (Ride on floor Scraper) and using the proper tool (Blades) with the equipment. I was not given the right amount of blades or the appropriate Blades needed to do the job that was originally explained to them.
