I paid for a diagnostic and specifically verified with the manager beforehand that they are authorized Genie dealers with the proper OEM software. A technician came out, scanned and cleared codes — but used a generic computer that cannot clear red codes, which requires OEM software. I only discovered this after reassembling everything myself and finding the codes still present.
