I happen to be the village idiot who thought it would be better and cheaper to rent a 34’ boom lift (of which I have never operated before) to do work on my house than pay some professionals to do it. After my experience with United I could not have made a better decision. Everyone I worked with at United was great and that included the delivery driver who gave me some tips on using the lift. United Rentals saved our young family from true heartbreak last spring when we needed to get our cat out of a tree. Mr. Biscuits got spooked by an insecure squirrel, and he clawed his way up a huge maple tree. We just couldn't get him down. I called the local fire station, and they were appalled at my stereotyping, and they refused to help me. I was able to rescue Mr. Biscuits (using a scissor lift from United Rentals)!
