UNITED LUMBER on Bayfield Street has been my #1 go-to address for building / renovating materials since I moved to Barrie. The friendly staff is always there to help with their expert advice. The Thursday's senior discount is GREATLY appreciated and has saved me quite some bucks over the years.
I bought drywall recently and Parker was so helpful and resourceful. He was efficient but also took the time to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot) and didn’t make me feel rushed. I was very happy with the service I received from the start of my visit to the end! Thanks for a great experience, especially for someone who isn’t super confident with this kind of stuff.
Had the nicest older gentleman help me the other day. He walked me through ordering lumber for the first time then he walked me around the store to show me where all the supplies were that I needed for my project. Wish I got his name because he had top notch customer service and deserves recognition. The man in the back that cut the wood for me was also so kind and helpful. Thank you for being amazing
Positive propane refill experience
3 days ago I bought a snowblower here. It has 5 speed settings, 4 forward and 1 reverse. The problem, mine has 4 reverse and 1 forward, and the 1 forward is a crawl. Today I went back to the store for help. No one there knew anything about snowblowers and I was advised my best course of action was to take it to a small engine repair shop. Unbelievable service!!
