We came to Carlos because we had lost our home and possessions in a fire. We were able to get copies of many of the receipts from one of the Jewelry stores. Our purchases went all the way back to 1998. The receipts however did not have very much detail to them, mostly just item #'s and purchase price. Almost all of the items numbers were now obsolete. I recently had the pleasure of having two rings appraised by Carlos Castilla. What a thorough appraisal! Each component of said rings was cleaned, examined and photographed as I watched. A fascinating process done by a very knowledgeable and courteous man at a very reasonable price.
