My mom recently slipped on ice causing her to fall and break her arm. UHC's ER and radiology staff took great care of my mom. They were efficient, explained her care in a way she would understand, and kept her comfortable through medical management as well as through personal communication. They made her laugh which calmed her nerves.
My wife and I have been to your new Medical Center in Elkins twice, both times was absolutely great, the care is outstanding, the staff has such compassion and kindness, and what a clean, clean center. We have been waiting for such a center to come here for a long time. My recommendation of this center is high and will let everyone know how wonderful it is. Thank you so much for all you do here.

A few months ago, one of my sons had a bowl preparation. He is only 21 and we thought it was maybe an appendix. We were shocked to find out his duodenum had a hole. The took him into surgery and made the repair. Surgery was successful, and because it was timely little leakage had occurred. We did spend a week on the 7th floor. Everyone was very kind, helpful, and professional. Our experience was top notch. Thank you to ED, Surgery, Nurses, and Lab for the wonderful experience.
