Regarding the spine center, Dr. B was my doctor and an outstanding job was done by the doctor, his PA, his nurses, and the support team at the desk. My injection today was in the pain management clinic where my attending physician was Dr Singh. The nurses and attending PA’s in the injection room were very supportive, professional, and a caring team. I had surgery in March to repair my rotator cuff. Everyone told me that Dr Jeffery Sykes was the man to go to and they weren't wrong! My experience was amazing, from the first appointment, to the surgery, to the follow-ups! Dr Sykes, his office team, and his PA, Miranda McCrosky, are all amazing and I would recommend them again and again! They are friendly, professional and competent! I am a nurse, so the wear and tear on my shoulder finally caught up with me! Dr Sykes fixed me so I can continue doing what I do!
My experience with my preceptor, Makinsey Jenkins, on 4S has been great! She has been very helpful in my learning experience and providing me with opportunities to grow in my nursing career. I am excited for the rest of my time and future learning experiences!
The only positive thing about the rotation was the childbirth class. There was not a single nurse that was receptive to us being present. Not a single staff member, besides our instructor, would speak to us, unless it was asking us to go deliver or pick up meal trays.
Child birth class was great! OB clinical experience was not very good, nurses were not friendly or helpful.
