They don't approve anything. Wether the doctor recommends it. They will deny you water if they can. They only care about the nurse visit (because of gd grace)

I've been trying to get paid my transportation reimbursement money since April 2026 and it's now going on still in late July 2026. First they give me the wrong information directions on where to mail their form. This happen to me 2nd times sending out their forms. Second, I couldn't reach their supervisors for help, their agents saying they are too busy to reach, so the agents put you on super long telephone holds for a supervisor and you never get one. UnitedHealthcare seriously needs to reevaluate some of the medical equipment providers they recommend and contract with. Our family has had repeated problems with AdaptHealth/AeroCare involving poor communication, inadequate equipment, delays, and extremely low-quality products while caring for a bedridden elderly patient. Families already dealing with difficult medical situations should not have to fight this hard just to receive safe and appropriate medical equipment.
