Spam call from this number 1800 357 1371. Not real number
I just had the worst experience when it comes to healthcare. My daughter needed urgent care in Vermont. Everything except UVM Medical Center was closed. My daughter received good care and recovered. I received her co-insurance bill from the hospital and it was much higher than the expected 20%. Apparently, the amount submitted for the services provided by the hospital was too low as it relates to the contracted amount, so what did UHC do? They increased the amount a charged by the hospital. Worst insurance company, I got scan call from this number everyday
It's a scam! They called claiming that an application I supposedly made for health insurance hadn't gone through, and alleged that I had gone to the hospital on July 6th for an appendectomy. I don't have this condition at all, and I've never even been to the hospital, yet they told me I have it—it makes me absolutely furious 😡. I kept insisting that I don't have it and that it wasn't me, but he kept asking, "If it wasn't you, why do we have your name and phone number?" That’s exactly what I’d like to know, too.
Not sure how these people sleep at night knowing they are a primary reason for people ill or in pain not being treated
