I purchased a Savage model 42 from United Gun Shop. Price was good and the help from their personnel was excellent. I have known and shopped at this gun shop for 20 years. I have purchased many guns from them and soled some using their consignment services. I recommend this gun shop highly.
If you should ever have issues, please contact the owner first before you complain on here like I did. After a conversation with owner, what I was upset about was happily resolved. I should have asked to speak straight to the owner before going off on a tangent. Owner was respectful and caring to the concerns brought to his attention. I feel confident after our conversation that the direction and steps being taken to move forward are in a positive direction.

I used to be a huge fan of this store until how I found out how they did me dirty. My newly purchased firearm showed up and they confiscated all 3 of the magazines that arrived with it, without authority. I was told unless I had arresting powers, ie law enforcement, I could not take the magazines. They were wrong. I specifically asked what about military and the rep said military does not apply and sorry for my luck. Meaning the mags were now theirs to sell. That is not true at all. Excellent Customer Service The original place that fingerprinted me did the wrong prints. Jonathan at United stepped up and helped me out. He took care of the other companies mistakes. I also took my HQL class here. They are top notch! I will make this my #1 place to shop moving forward!
