The lounge opens at 5:00 AM, which makes no sense when there are United/Air Canada flights already boarding around 5:15 AM. To make it worse, the boarding gate is on the exact opposite side of the terminal, so passengers barely have any time to use the lounge before boarding. United really needs to figure out a better solution — this is absurd.
Food at buffet looks like it’s been there since this morning. Nothing appetizing at all. United you need to step up your game. The Delta lounge is much, much better. Unfortunately this time we’re flying Lufthansa… nice bartender though.
I appreciate RDU. It's easy to get to, parking is decent, it's an easy airport to navigate through, and the people are friendly. The united lounge is clean, the people are great...but if you're an experienced traveler who is used to nice lounges, you'll be underwhelmed in the RDU United Club because it's fairly small so seating can be tough but the food is always a disappointment. A quick stop before our flight this morning. Very nice food choices to choose from and lovely view of airport terminal from the upper floor.
