Eric is a very skilled and honest business man. My first experience with his shop I brought in a Canon G7 with a non-functioning auto lens cap. He asked if I had a few minutes and took it back to his shop. A few minutes later he brings the camera out and hands it to me with the lens cap working properly. I asked "what do I owe you"? and he says nothing. He could have checked it in fixed it and called me in a week to come get it for whatever the price and I'd have never known the difference. 10 years ago I save and saved for a used Nikon D3. I was very excited to get it and started using right away. It died only a couple weeks later to a bad shutter. I was assured that it had just been repaired but the seller wouldn't help. I had no idea what to do. I found United Camera on the web and shipped it off. They called a few days later and said they could fix it for about 250.00. After spending 2,500 on a paper weight. I was ecstatic. Got the camera back and have been using it ever since. I accidentally sent in my wallet, ( I had several things in hand and didn't notice that I left the wallet in the box prior to shipping) along with my phone. They very promptly and professionally returned my items by reaching out to my insurance company. Which above and beyond what most places would ever do. Thanks Ted

I had broken a Canon 28-70mm L 2.8 lens I sent in for repair. Sadly, they were unable to repair the lens as they did not have parts available. It is a 16 year old lens. As a courtesy, United sent the lens to Canon USA for repair. Alas, Canon no longer services this lens as well. The folks at United stayed in touch thru the entire process via email AND telephone. They sent the lens back to me with an email letting me know about the ship date and also and credited my monies back with no prompting on my part whatsoever. United ... read more

They did an excellent job repairing my 1972 Soviet Kiev 6c. It doesn't seem to matter how obscure or obsolete the equipment, Eric comes through.
