I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Dr. Beatriz Ramirez and Dr. Beatriz Hornia. I have never felt more safe, supported, and genuinely cared for by two mental health professionals in my life. I am incredibly grateful to Melanie, Martha, and Noemi at Uniq Mind & Wellness for the care and compassion they have shown my mom. I am writing this for my husband. He spent over 6 months under treatment with a Fort Myers psychiatrist who was not helping my husband with treatment resistant Major Depressive Disorder. Melanie Orben is a rare psychologist who has a deep well of knowledge on medication and simultaneously has a graceful and compassionate grasp of her patient's needs. Requiring help with mental health is a vulnerable space and it's difficult to find a provider who makes you feel safe to be honest and it ultimately leads to better outcomes as you navigate treatment. I cannot recommend Melanie highly enough for both her expert knowledge of medication and her truly empathetic yet professional take on her patient's well being.
