Standing as a grand focal point for the west end of 17th Street, Union Station is one of lower downtown's most attractive pieces of architecture. Numerous restaurants and nightclubs occupy this historic building. You can sip martinis and relate with urban hipsters at A Bar, or get rowdy to the blues and chow down on Cajun cuisine. The original building, constructed in 1880, burned to the ground. In 1914, the current beau arts building took shape, complete with three storey windows and high ceilings.

Fabulous renovation that was badly needed. Great place to spend time people watching, grabbing a drink, eating a delicious meal, and/or picking up a last-minute gift. This place has it all, and beautiful architecture to boot!
Awesome place. Try the Milkbox chocolate malt it was excellent. We need those wide mouth straws in Houston! :^)
Clean, organized, full of happy people. I take the train to and from the airport every other week. Great experience every time!

I catch the train to the airport ever day at 3:15am and need the restroom and the cleaning it at that time I know they have to clean it but there 3 restrooms in union station you would think they would give access to one of them ?????
