All of the businesses and people that run the stores, hotel and restaurants are wonderful. Police present all the time makes the place a comfortable waiting and dining area. Personally saw how kind the transit police were talking to a homeless woman passing through! Beautiful building- glad they refurbished a landmark! Will definitely be back!
Amtrack sucks I will never take one ever again! I never got to check the station out. I know one thing the California Zephyr was overcrowded they lost my bike. It took a hour to find at Chicago union station! One baggage clerk stuck with me and helped me find it. I tipped him 20 bucks because the other employees gave me the run around! Never again!
What a great place! Makes waiting enjoyable for a change. Great little shops, great eateries, open pit kitchens and AND a spice and salt market right in one of the restaurants!! There's even a fountain park right out front. The kids were having a blast.
What a cool train station - lots of eateries and very clean 😀
